'Once again violinist Charlotte Moseley achieved this feat, revealing yet another masterwork in her repertoire, the Mendelssohn Concerto. She and Jenkinson found exactly the right tempi throughout, and she also had the confidence to inject eloquent pauses into the composer's own brilliantly-constructed cadenza.
Moseley has all the work's well-crafted technical demands securely under her fingers (witness the fearless double-stopping under voice-leading in the second movement)'
Mendelssohn violin concerto, Christopher Morley, Midlands Music Reviews, 2019
'Soloist Charlotte Moseley truly transported us with familiar contrasts in Bruch's poignant Violin Concerto. Here is a performer with a wide repertoire of concerti having caught the music bug aged five and now sharing her musical passions with many local audiences. Hard work has added a masters degree to her accomplishments (DipRAM), graduating with distinction - her debut CD is to be released this spring.'
Bruch violin concerto, Christopher Morley/Maggie Cotton, Birmingham Post 2019
'Charlotte Moseley is an outstanding young violinist.'
Wyre Forest Symphony Orchestra, 2019
'Soloist Charlotte Moseley was fearless in her approach, her initial entry throatily rich in tone and indicative of the emotional odyssey to follow. Her bowing was generous and supple, her lyrical interludes unfolded with a regretful wisdom beyond her years, and her multiple-stopped journey through the finale's tortuous and tortured cadenza was triumphantly achieved. Moseley and conductor Richard Jenkinson maintained eye-contact of mutual trust throughout this performance of rhapsodic tempo-shifts and sudden dynamic changes.'
Elgar violin concerto, Christopher Morley, Birmingham Post 2018
'I have heard many performances of the Sibelius Violin Concerto, and very few of them have come close to the persuasive advocacy of this notoriously difficult work which Charlotte Moseley brought to her reading with the remarkable Orchestra of St. John.
This was a highly accomplished account, superbly controlled, technically assured (double-stopped octaves magnificently tuned) and with a forward, immediate tone deliciously throaty in the lower reaches.
There was also immense natural musicianship from Moseley, not least in the way she sustained a long singing line in the slow movement, and from OSJ too, listening alertly to every shape of her phrasing.....
..... I would quibble with the swift tempo set for the finale, which Sibelius marked 'allegro, ma non tanto', but Moseley's fingers and bowing were up to the task.'
Sibelius violin concerto with Orchestra of St. John, Bromsgrove, conductor Richard Jenkinson - Christopher Morley, Birmingham Post 2015
'Grieg's charming Holberg Suite - 'in olden style', started with vim and vigour as leader Charlotte Moseley set high standards with sparkling solo threads.'
Orchestra of St.John concert, St John's Church Bromsgrove - Birmingham Post 2015
'An accomplished, energetic performance with a big heart.'

'This concert programme is built around two seasons – winter and spring and we are lucky to have a brilliant young violinist in Charlotte Moseley to perform two of the concertos from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi.'
